A Note from Our Founder

Dr. Maryam Kia-Keating
As a psychologist, educator, and parent, I’m more aware than ever that we need to make sure our own oxygen masks are securely fastened before we try to help others. When I practice yoga and mindfulness meditation, my deep breaths give me the oxygen I need, literally and metaphorically. Even better, the science tells us that there are countless health and psychological benefits to meditation.

Power of Drishti transpired from the desire to help support others to be compassionate, empathic, and take time to do good in the world. A daily Drishti meditation only takes a few minutes, is easy to access, and can become part of your routine. Embrace your purpose and passion. Thank you for your courage. Enjoy the pause.
